From a Voice Note to a Movement

2025 was a year of firsts, but we’re not done yet!

Futsal Lagos started in 2022 with a voice note. Sent to ten different guys. One idea:

"What if we built a futsal league in Lagos?"

No pitch, no deck, just a dream passed around on WhatsApp.

That voice note helped build Futsal Lagos to where we are today.

And this year? It moved louder than ever.

We kicked off 2025 the only way we know how, with a bang!

Showtime Arena. Meadow Hall, Lekki.

A pitch full of future stars.

An all-female squad. Skills upon skills on display.

With pro players bringing the tekkers and tension.

The energy? Wild.

The crowd? All in.

And the media? Pooja, Tobex, Dr. Victor Ademola... you know the vibes.

It was a reminder.

That Futsal isn't just a concept. It's a culture.

This one hit different.

We brought futsal to secondary schools for the first time in Nigeria, and the students showed up ready to ball.

Whitesands School. Lekki.

Top schools from across Lagos.

Fierce matchups, last-minute goals, even the city traffic couldn't stop us.

Students. Teachers. Parents.

That after-school, 5-a-side energy? We scaled it.

Hunger, flair, and football IQ that caught everyone off guard.

We're still tingling just thinking about it.

None of this happens without the believers.
